For those who may be confused, Battersea Power Station, a grade II listed building in the heart of Battersea and Nine Elms, and has been closed for almost 40 years. After countless refurbishments and plenty of waiting, we are pleased to announce that they are finally opening their steely doors to the public for the first time on the 14th of October!  

From the people that brought you a new and improved Wandsworth and plenty of Southbank refurbs, Battersea Power Station, open to the public, from what was once the source of 1/5 of London’s power. When Mooboo asks, we deliver! We created wet-coated acrylics lettering on an aluminium composite tray to put their brand identity at the forefront of their store and provide some striking signage to Fulham road! In order to spice up their graphics game, a tactile artificial grass plaque and wet-coated matt white logo, which were propped up by stand-off locators, were installed to provide a seamless, energetic, and fun form of signage!

Acting as a force for good, they also partner with various organisations to help shed light on social injustices they are passionate about and create a loving community of people in a city that can be lonely and isolating.

To help them fulfil their missions, we wanted to make their church memorable and noticeable using an external aluminium light box in their choice of RAL colour as well as full-colour print on translucent vinyl and opal acrylic to promote their church 24/7 to passers-by. What else? Well, we produced a matching wall-mounted acrylic plaque on studs in full-colour print to unify the design of the church just as the church unifies the people!
